Carolina Water Features, Inc. was created to provide the industry with an alternative to the limited, expensive interactive water features that exist in today's market. A large percentage of our water features are made of P.V.C and fiberglass instead of stainless steel. Of course, we use stainless steel where it is needed for structural stability, but not as a primary component of our systems. By using these materials our pricing is generally about half the price of our competitors.
Carolina Water Features, a division of Hucks Swimming Pool Company, is located in beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC. Myrtle Beach is one of the fastest growing resort areas on the eastern shores of South Carolina. Hucks Pool Company was started 1963 and has grown along with the area over the years, constructing primarily large resort hotel pools, lazy rivers, fountains, water parks, and other water features. Each project brings its own special set of design issues , and we constantly have to think of new ideas to hold public interest.
Since our background is in pool construction, we strive to make our play features simple to install. Most of our play features only require the proper size pipe stubbed up through the pool or wet deck floor. The play features are installed when you are trimming the out the pool and take very little time. All of our components come with a complete set of installation instructions that are so simple, that almost anyone can install them.
We also manufacture a line of fiberglass drain sumps, and surge tanks for the swimming pool industry. Our drain sumps start at 9" X 9" with a 3" suction and go thru a 2' X 4' with dual 6" suctions. Our drain sumps are economically priced so you do not have to spend the time forming, pouring, and water proofing your own sump.
